As a design + build firm, we take your project from concept to reality through our Four-Step Client Journey (shown below). Our process follows the most effective way to successfully attack a project and our clients are actively involved along each step of the way. The process takes your project through ideation, project planning & analysis, design, architecture & engineering, construction management, code compliance & permitting, inspections, construction, general contracting, delivery, and installation.

DESIGN

PHASE 1
  • PAYMENT
    Submission of a non-refundable payment depending on project size or scope
  • PROJECT ANALYSIS
    Project analysis, derive a game plan and analyze critical risks
  • CREATE A DESIGN
    Renderings and schematic drawings (includes two rounds of simple revisions)
  • DETAILED ESTIMATE
    Rough order of magnitude (ROM) cost analysis based on your design (presented at a 15% range)
  • VALUE ENGINEERING
    Design changes we can make to help reduce your cost
  • SCOPE OF WORK
    SOW matrix defining ROXBOX, client, and third party responsibilities and deliverables

ARCHITECTURE & ENGINEERING

PHASE 2
  • PERMIT PAYMENT
    Project-specific quote & allowance to complete an approved permit set
  • REFINE DESIGN
    Refine design drawing set to construction drawing set
  • DESIGN LOCK
    Design is finalized so we can push the project forward
  • STAMPS
    Architectural and structural engineering stamps (permanent builds only)
  • MEP REVIEWS
    Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing review and stamps (permanent builds only)
  • SUB COORDINATION
    Managing and coordinating with other contractors and subcontractors
  • SUBMITTAL
    Manage the submission of the permit set to any state & local building departments for approval & feedback, and make correlating adjustments (permanent builds only)
  • COMPREHENSIVE QUOTE
    Detailed quote down to the penny based on an approved construction drawing set

BUILD

PHASE 3
  • DOWN PAYMENT
    60% down payment to begin production and secure materials
  • PROJECT SCHEDULING
    After approval of the final design and drawings, we move you into our production schedule
  • PROJECT CONSTRUCTION
    Our in-house manufacturing team builds your project
  • PROJECT MANAGEMENT
    Continual updates and regular communication about your build
  • MID-CONSTRUCTION PAYMENT
    We take 25% of the total project cost upon the 50% completion mark

DELIVER

PHASE 4
  • FINAL PAYMENT
    Final 15% payment upon completion of your project at our facility
  • DELIVERY
    We will help coordinate delivery, and the local general contractor should complete on-site work and/or installation
  • OPTIONAL INSTALLATION
    We send our install team to the project site to help with installation under a licensed general contractor
